Perspective? How do you "See" and "Hear"?

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know, your own perspective, and understanding. In all your ways acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make straight your paths.

Luke 8:18

So pay attention to “how” you hear. To those who listen to my guidance, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them.

  1. προσέχω (to listen)
watch, watch out, notice, beware, look after, listen

Such great scripture verses to understand and to implement into our lives. I cry out to the Father for His guidance in my life. And if I do this, I must also cry out for the understanding of how this could look like for my life and situation. I must notice and watch out for the moving of the Holy Spirit. I must beware of any sin in my life that may dull my hearing or my sight from feeling the Spirit's guidance. Then once I feel the Spirit's moving in my life, I must look after what I was shown, cherish it and listen and obey its guidance. I believe I must do these things, so that I may have understanding to how He moves in my life.
