Who is the King?

Anyone who decides "I am in charge of my life".

The heart of the king

Proverbs 21 King James Version (KJV)
21 The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

The mighty think their thoughts are their own. The humble wisely understand the still small voice is God's intimate guidance for them.

Pornography and video games.

Both are a poor substitute. One for sex with your wife and the other victorious living.

FAKS?

A fully actualized kingdom saint is second, charts their own course, utilizes what comes along. And is not passive but intentional.

Be an Overcomer!

It's not where you are at.

It's how far you have come.

It's not what you have been given, but what you have done with it.

You don't need permission. Trust the Lover of your Soul and obey.

Dependance. It's all about "Who" you should put your trust in.

Dependence. In the culture of North America it is a negative term. You should not depend on anyone but yourself. Of course that is folly.

What? I am the maker of my own destiny.

Yes, certainly, that is the folly. You think your "I Am" equates to the Lover of your souls "I AM" and His understanding of who you are.

Only He sees your path clearly. Only He can navigate you through the challenges you are faced with now. Why? He sees it all now, and you have no ability to comprehend the consequence of everyone's decisions that will impact your life.

Not even your own decisions.

Prov. 3: 5:6   Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;  6.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Iron Sharpens Iron.

There is a season for everything. And in that season, friends challenge what you think. They see first hand the consequence of your choices and ask questions about the veracity of your decisions. That is if they are a friend.

It's good to know what you believe, it's better to know why you believe it. Your friends may "trust in chariots and some in horses"... Google it.

It's all about radical dependence. That is if you are done with trusting your own understanding.
